mondraker mountainbikes Mondraker Neat RR SL BikeThe Mondraker Neat RR SL starts from a different premise than most electric mountain bikes. The Mondraker Neat RR SL starts from a different premise than most electric mountain bikes. Where the category has trended toward larger motors producing 85–90 Nm of torque, Mondraker built the Neat around the TQ HPR-50 — a motor that delivers 50 Nm of peak torque in a package so compact it barely registers in the frame’s profile. The result is a 29er eMTB that pedals, climbs, and handles like a mountain bike you’d ride without the motor, one that happens to have a 360Wh battery integrated invisibly into a full carbon frame. At 40.3 pounds, the RR SL is among the lightest full-suspension eMTBs available at any price.

The Stealth Air carbon frame is built around Mondraker’s Updated Zero Suspension System — a Virtual Pivot Point design with a one-piece Monoblock upper link that delivers 150mm of rear travel tuned for trail and enduro riding. Forward Geometry shapes the frame with a longer reach and shorter stem than a traditional MTB, giving you stability at speed and confidence on technical descents without compromising climbing agility. The battery is fully integrated and removable, making long-ride charging logistics straightforward. MAX capacity sealed bearings, oversize 15mm axles, and an integrated dropout speed sensor complete the chassis.

Suspension is Fox Factory at both ends. Up front, the Fox 36 Float GRIP2 Factory Kashima runs 160mm of travel on a Boost 15x110mm axle — the gold standard in trail and enduro forks, with external damping adjustment that rewards dialing in. The rear Fox Float X Factory Kashima EVOL runs 185x55mm, 150mm travel, with a two-position compression lever (Open/Firm) and full rebound and air pressure adjustment. The drivetrain is SRAM XX Eagle AXS T-Type wireless — 12-speed electronic shifting via the AXS Pod MMX lever, with a 34T chainring and 10-52T cassette giving you the range to climb anything the motor can get you to the base of. Braking is handled by Shimano XTR M9120 4-piston hydraulic discs with 203mm ICE-Tech rotors front and rear — arguably the best trail brake on the market, regardless of what the rest of the bike costs.

Design Benefits

  1. TQ HPR-50 Motor — Natural Ride Feel: The TQ motor produces 50 Nm of torque in a unit small enough to disappear into the frame profile. This isn’t a compromise — it’s a deliberate engineering philosophy. The motor is positioned and tuned to extend your ability on the trail rather than replace it, making the Neat feel responsive and rider-driven in a way that larger, more powerful eMTBs rarely achieve.
  2. Full Carbon Frame with Zero Suspension System: Mondraker’s Virtual Pivot Point-based Zero Suspension System isolates pedaling efficiency from suspension movement, so the 150mm of rear travel works on the trail without bobbing under power. The carbon construction keeps weight controlled and stiffness high, and the Monoblock upper link is a single machined piece — no pivot flex, no slop over time.
  3. Fox Factory at Both Ends: The Fox 36 Factory and Fox Float X Factory are Kashima-coated, externally adjustable, and purpose-matched to the Neat’s travel and intended terrain. This isn’t a bike that ships with entry-level suspension with a premium motor — the entire package is built to the same standard.
  4. SRAM XX Eagle AXS T-Type + Shimano XTR Brakes: The best wireless drivetrain available paired with the best trail brake available. The 10-52T cassette range handles everything from fire road sprints to technical switchback climbing. XTR M9120’s 4-piston caliper and 203mm rotors deliver braking power that’s consistently modular from first use to ten thousandth.
  5. Mavic E-CrossTrail SL Carbon Wheels: Carbon-specific eMTB wheels with a 30mm internal width hookless rim and Mavic’s Infinity hub system. Tubeless-ready out of the box, and built to handle the additional stress loads that a motorized system puts on hubs and spokes over time — a detail that distinguishes purpose-built eMTB wheels from adapted road or trail designs.

Final Take

The Mondraker Neat RR SL makes the case that the best eMTB isn’t necessarily the most powerful one. The TQ HPR-50 motor, full carbon frame, Fox Factory suspension, SRAM XX AXS wireless drivetrain, Shimano XTR brakes, and Mavic carbon wheels form a complete system with no component chosen to check a box. At $14,399, this is a top-shelf purchase — one that delivers a ride experience closer to an enhanced mountain bike than a motorized one.

My opinion
Format: Kindle
Let me preface this by saying I really liked the story and the characters however, this book is in desperate need of some sort of editing. It's not misspelled words or formatting, but continuous run on sentences. Redundancies within the sentences. There were a couple of paragraphs that I had to go back and reread 3 or 4 times. Overall, I'd say it was worth the read.

Beautiful
Format: Kindle
I love omegaverses I had looked at this one multiple times thinking it's just another book about cocky rock star guys that let fame get to their heads and there are parts like that so I wasn't 100% off. I started reading the second book and met the fmc Astraea from the first one, after she had a run in with the aphla from the gym.😁 it gave me the push to stop and read book one first and im so glad I did this book was amazing their was so many characters I fell in love with hoping they will find their happily ever after. the guys were great, the plot was 🎯, and the ending had me 😭😭😭. I was wondering how nate could ever redeem himself, and he did. the last scene with him was sad, but I also felt it was beautiful. thank you to the author for making a beautiful omegaverse book that gave me all the feels. now I'm jumping straight into book two.

Knot their Omega
Format: Kindle
It took me a day to really get into the book, there is a lot happening in the beginning of the story. I wish there was more of a time frame because I felt like something’s happened quickly but they were farther away than I thought so that was a little confusing to me. I felt like there was so much happening but also not enough. As for the story itself I enjoyed it, it was different than other OV I’ve read. Bring the tissues, you will need them. They guys were great, I wish we saw more of Kai and Kenjis relationship. As for Nate…… IYKYK. I enjoyed this book, my first from this author and look forward to reading about Kamaris story. Book: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Spice: 🌶️.5/5

Has Potential, Poorly Executed
Format: Kindle
I really really wanted to enjoy this book and was looking forward to reading it. However there were just one too many convoluted plot points, sentences just did not flow nicely at times, and I was left with a lot of confusion on my end. I think it has the bones of being a great story but seems like it was rushed and I had to push myself to finish the last of the book and was left with an unsatisfying ending. It’s definitely different from other omegaverse novels I’ve read but not for good reasons. I really think it could be great but needs some serious tweaking and editing before I’d read it again.
